Jade Thirlwall has claimed Harry Styles "ghosted" her after just one date when they were teenagers.
During an interview for The Louis Theroux Podcast on Monday, the former Little Mix member recounted how she and Harry once met up while they were contestants on The X Factor in 2010.
"We were like 16 or something," she recalled, noting that the date happened shortly after Harry formed boy band One Direction on the music competition show alongside Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson.
"And then the minute they went on live shows, he didn't message me back," the Angel of My Dreams singer continued. "I thought, 'That's it now. He's gone. He's made it.'"
But after Jade and her fellow Little Mix bandmates - Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock - rose to fame on the following season of the programme, Harry reached out to her to apologise.
"I saw him... and he was like, 'I'm really sorry that I ignored you,'" she remembered, while host Louis declared, "He ghosted you."
"Yeah," the 32-year-old conceded. "I was so young. It didn't really matter."
Jade then admitted Harry was "very charming".
"He gotten himself where he is because he's very talented," she gushed.
Jade is now in a relationship with rapper-actor Jordan Stephens, while Harry was most recently linked to actress Taylor Russell.
Elsewhere in the conversation, the British star also reflected on the tragic death of former One Direction singer Liam last October.
The For You hitmaker died at the age of 31 after falling from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
"It can be really lonely when you are that huge because you know, none of those boys could just go out and do whatever they wanted. Being stuck in hotel rooms and having nothing to do. So, I think it all makes sense that being in a boy band can contribute to being in a dark place, for sure," she added.
