Kanye West has praised his daughter, North West, for encouraging him to make new music.

The 47-year-old rap sensation shares daughters North, 11, and Chicago, seven, as well as sons Saint, nine, and Psalm, five, with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, 44.

The self-professed music genius has not released an album since 2021's Donda, which was dedicated to his late mother - but is due to unleash a new record titled Bully this year.

And explaining that North was the inspiration behind the new record, he gushed in an Instagram post on Tuesday, "This little girl made me love music again.

"She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY."

Kanye shared his statement alongside a black-and-white snap of North sitting on an office chair while beside a keyboard.

The Jesus Walks singer's longtime collaborator Malik Yusef appeared to confirm that North had joined the musician in the studio.

He gushed in a comment, "Yes sir, you definitely did that. I've been a witness seen it with my own two eyes is really good to see the young God YE doing pure magic!"

Last year, Kanye stunned fans when he released a music video for a track titled Talking, with the pre-teen not only starring in the video, but she was credited as the director.
