Acclaimed British rapper Central Cee is back with episode two of ‘CRG Radio’ on Apple Music 1, a four-part series offering an exclusive look into his world like never before, ahead of Friday’s release of his highly-anticipated debut album ‘Cant Rush Greatness’.

Named after his debut LP, ‘CRG Radio’ offers a candid, behind-the-scenes exploration of the music, influences, and people that have shaped his meteoric rise.

In episode two, Cench takes listeners on an intimate journey through his musical evolution, sharing candid insights into the creation of the tracks that catapulted him to stardom. Joined by his official DJ Andy Purnell, who skillfully navigates his impressive catalogue, Cench reflects on standout tracks from his breakout mixtapes ‘Wild West’ and ‘23’. Along the way, he offers heartfelt advice to inspire others to follow their dreams.

Central Cee says: “This is ‘CRG Radio’ episode 2, my DJ Andy Purnall is running a few of my songs from my catalogue, we’re currently on the run-up towards my debut album ‘Cant Rush Greatness’. I feel like that’s probably seen as the most important move of your career, so I’m excited and I can’t wait for you lot to hear it, and hopefully you guys like it as much as I do. We’re taking you through the journey, putting you on to all the key moments throughout my career, the releases that all added up to get me into the position that I’m in.”

The four-part series was launched last month, in which Cench was joined by the founders of fashion and lifestyle brand Trapstar, Mikey, Lee, and Will, for a raw and insightful conversation that delved into their shared West London London roots, the evolution of their brand and how friendship and family have shaped their creative journeys. They also revealed on the show that they have worked with Cench on a special version of his debut album that includes brand new artwork and exclusive tracks.

Central Cee is fresh off sharing the tracklist for the 17-track LP, which features previously released singles ‘BAND4BAND’ featuring Lil Baby, ‘Gen Z Luv’ and most recent single ‘GBP,’ featuring 21 Savage. ‘BAND4BAND’ reached No. 3 on the UK singles chart and No. 1 on the UK Hip-Hop and R&B singles chart. ‘Can’t Rush Greatness’ will feature collaborations with Young Miko, Dave, Lil Durk and Skepta. Cench and Dave’s track will arrive two years after their joint four-track EP ‘Split Decision’, which included the summer hit ‘Sprinter’ that became the longest-running No. 1 rap song in the UK with its 10-week reign.

Central Cee brings a brazen yet conscientious perspective to the hardened UK Rap scene. Initially attracted to the melodic UK trapwave sound of the late 2010s, Cee embraced drill production on 2020’s ‘Day In The Life’ - a song that arguably got everything started for him. Central Cee’s debut mixtape, 2021’s ‘Wild West’, saw the MC making revelatory confessions on tracks like the standout ‘Commitment Issues.’ The 2022 single ‘Doja,’ which sampled Eve and Gwen Stefani’s 2001 hit ‘Let Me Blow Ya Mind,’ highlighted his ability to craft clever songs that connect with his insatiable audience. With the Drake-assisted ‘On The Radar Freestyle’, ‘Sprinter’ with fellow UK rapper Dave and the more recent ‘Band4Band’ with Lil Baby — Central Cee’s artistic reach is inimitably global.
