Trace Cyrus has told brother Braison to "Man Up" and get "healthy."

Trace's comments come after he wrote an open letter to his dad Billy Ray Cyrus after his unusual performance at Donald Trump's inauguration.

In the letter he expressed concern for his father's wellbeing, saying that he and other family members were "genuinely concerned" for his health.

In response to the letter, Trace's brother Braison, 30, confirmed he is collaborating on new music with Billy Ray and executive producing his record.

"I've spent the last year getting to know my dad better than I ever have," he said on Instagram.

"After he spent a week in the hospital in the fall, I'm grateful that my dad is happy, healthy and ready to make this record. It's a rare opportunity to make something this special and tell my dad's story through music," he added. "Can't wait to finally share it."

Trace, 35, didn't hold back with this opinion. When he was asked by a fan on Instagram why Braison was suggesting their dad was in a good place, he wrote simply, "Birds of a feather flock together."

Then, he posted a video of him boxing, writing, "this is what healthy looks like. Braison I can help you too. Damn. Man up boys."

Billy Ray Cyrus is also father to Brandi, 37, Miley, 32, and Noah, 24.
