Lady Gaga is talking to Grammy Award organisers about potentially performing at the star-studded bash.

The Sun newspaper reports that Grammys bosses are desperate to get Gaga and Bruno Mars to sign on the dotted line to belt out their mega-hit Die With a Smile.

Their collaboration is already up for two awards on the night of 3 February, including Song Of The Year, having been streamed a whopping 1.6 billion times on Spotify since it came out in August.

It is also nominated in the Best Pop/Duo Group Performance category.

If successful, it will be the first time Gaga has performed on the Grammy stage since her memorable performance in 2022. She then paid homage to Tony Bennett with heartfelt renditions of Love for Sale and Do I Love You - tracks from her Grammy-winning collaboration album.

The timing of the award ceremony would make her performance a handy prelude to her seventh studio album, which is expected to be formally announced any time now.

Gaga has now received 38 nominations total and 13 Grammy wins.

Gaga did not attend the ceremony last year. Entertainment Tonight reported at the time that she was "lying low" due to her work on the Joker sequel.
