Steve Aoki and his wife are expecting a baby.
The 47-year-old DJ and record producer and his wife Sasha Sofine have revealed they are expecting their first child together.
The couple made the announcement live on stage during Steve's performance at Barasti Beach in Dubai on Sunday, when they also dramatically revealed the baby's gender.
As part of the announcement, the Boneless DJ smashed his face into a cake with blue icing, signalling that they are expecting a baby boy.
"Right, this is a special moment. This is my wife and we're having a baby!" Steve told the crowd after Sasha joined him on stage, according to a video he posted on Instagram.
After planting his face in the large cake, which had the word "AOKI" written on it in blue and pink icing, blue smoke and confetti filled the stage and a screen behind the band lit up with the words: "It's A Boy!"
"We're having a boy!" Steve excitedly told the crowd after sharing a kiss with his wife.
Meanwhile, the artist wrote in the caption, "The most important cake of my life..... IT'S A BOY."
The stunt is typical of the musician, who has been known for throwing cakes at fans during his shows for more than a decade.
Steve and Sasha tied the knot in July 2024. The DJ was previously married to Australian model Tiernan Cowling from 2015 to 2018.
