50 Cent has brushed off a new assault lawsuit filed against him.

A photographer named Guadalupe De Los Santos filed a lawsuit against the rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday.

In the complaint, obtained by TMZ, the man claimed he was deliberately knocked off his electric scooter by a member of Jackson's entourage when he pulled up beside their car following a book signing at The Grove shopping centre in September 2024.

According to De Los Santos, the car's front passenger door swung open while they were waiting at a red light. The door allegedly smacked into his left side, knocking him onto the pavement and badly damaging the scooter.

He allegedly faces mounting medical bills due to his injuries and has lost out on earnings because he's had to miss work. He is now suing the rapper for damages, claiming he ordered someone in the car to hit him with the door.

In response, the In Da Club hitmaker's attorney told TMZ, "Mr. Jackson has neither been served with or seen a filed copy of a lawsuit filed by Ms. Allred's firm. However, if and when such a frivolous claim is filed and served, rest assured that Mr. Jackson's legal team will swiftly move to dismiss the matter and seek the maximum costs, fees, sanctions and other remedies that are available under law."

They added that he is not accused of driving the vehicle or opening the door.

Jackson personally brushed off the legal action on Instagram by posting an old image of him with the accuser's lawyer Gloria Allred.

"The moment I realized I don't like lawyers, (laughing emoji) Gloria you should know better, chase a different ambulance," he quipped.

In a second post, he shared a screengrab of his lawyer's statement and a photo in which he and Allred clutched hands at an event.

"Gloria you're not gonna get any money from me that way, but if you call me I'll take you to dinner. LOL," he joked.
