Madonna has slammed U.S. President Donald Trump's administration for its anti-LGBTQ+ agenda.
On Monday, Trump signed a controversial executive order titled Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness which restricts transgender people from enlisting and serving openly in the military, rescinding an order made by former President Joe Biden in 2021.
In addition, Trump has rolled back on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the armed services amid his first week back in the White House.
Taking to X on Tuesday, Madonna posted a selfie showing her with a stoic expression and a furry coat pulled over her head.
In the accompanying caption, the Queen of Pop called out Trump for enacting the policies.
"It's so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for and WON over the years. Don't give up the Fight!" she wrote, adding an LGBTQ+ rainbow flag and broken red heart emojis.
It's not the first time Madonna, a long-time advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, has spoken out against Trump.
Following his win in the 2024 presidential election last November, the 66-year-old took to Instagram to post a photo of a cake with the words "F**k Trump" written across the top.
"Stuffed my face with this cake last night," she wrote, before adding a more serious note: "Trying to get my head around why a convicted felon, rapist, bigot was chosen to lead our country because he's good for the economy?"
The pop icon also shared a post to her feed, writing in the caption, "I woke up this morning and the first thought that came to my head was - America hates Women! - Not that I haven't always felt the wrath of misogyny breathing down my neck."
Trump has not yet responded to Madonna's post.
