DJS: “Winning the Grammy for Best Rap Album, like, I know you've been asked this a thousand times, but how's that feel?”
D: “I mean, it feels amazing. It's really, really cool. I think that the statement that it makes for female rap and how it pushes that forward is really, really important to me. And also just hip hop in general; the style that I brought on the album is, like, traditional, but I also wanted to push it forward. And so I think that that reset and hip hop, we needed that, and I'm glad that we have that.”

D: “Everything felt fake. Like, I don't know how to explain it. Like, not in a negative way. I just felt like I was dreaming the whole night, which is how I knew that, like, my dreams literally came true! You know what I mean? So I felt grateful. It was cool.”
