Kasabian play special performance for War Child supported by Stockport indie rockers Blossoms

BRITs Week 25, delivered by DHL for War Child continued last night with a truly unforgettable evening. Legendary English rock band Kasabian performed a set packed full of hits, such as ‘Club Foot’, ‘You’re In Love With A Psycho’, ‘Fire’ and more at the iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
The set was alight with energy, featuring heavy crowd interaction from frontman Sergio Pizzorno which saw him both in the stalls and on the balcony throughout the set. There was also a special guest appearance from Comedian and Bake Off co-host Noel Fielding, which added comedic energy to the set.
To make things even more special, support on the night came from English quintet indie rock band, Blossoms, who opened the show in style with guitar-driven melodic hits, including; ‘Charlemagne’, ‘Your Girlfriend’, and recent fan favourite ‘Gary’.
BRITs Week 25, delivered by DHL for War Child gives fans the unforgettable opportunity to see intimate, one-off performances from some of the biggest and most exciting names in music at some of the UK’s best venues.
All proceeds from the shows go towards War Child’s phenomenal work to help provide protection, education, mental health support, and more while standing up for the rights of children whose lives have been devastatingly affected by war. The total amount raised for War Child by BRITs Week, since its inception in 2009, is over £7,430,000.
BRITs Week is produced by AEG Presents, BPI, DHL, and War Child, the charity for children affected by conflict. Proceeds from the shows will help to support War Child’s work that aims to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out and stays to support them through their recovery - keeping them safe, helping them learn and cope with their experiences, and equipping them with skills for a brighter future. Through BRITs Week, some of the biggest names in music will play a series of very special, intimate shows to help save lives around the world.
BRITs Week 25 for War Child will take place around The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard on Saturday 1st March, with artists playing in venues across London, Bexhill and Glasgow.
The series continues on Friday Grammy award winning, electro-pop three-piece, Clean Bandit take the stage at London’s Palladium, bringing with them a host of special guests including; Belen Aguilera, Dyo, Jess Glynne, LeoStayTrill, Lloyiso & Wes Nelson.
Up-close and personal performances are still to come from Tom Walker, Soft Play, Rag’n’Bone Man and James Bay. Remaining dates below.
