McFly star Danny Jones has finally addressed a scandal he ignited by kissing Maura Higgins.
The 39-year-old singer and guitarist has been married to model Georgia Horsley since 2014 and they share a young son together.
Earlier this month, however, the marriage was rocked when footage emerged of Jones seemingly kissing Love Island star Higgins, 34, affectionately at the 2025 BRIT Awards in London.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the Star Girl singer addressed the scandal - weeks after footage of the pair canoodling went viral following the Saturday 1 March music event.
He wrote, "Hello everyone, sorry I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me."
Seemingly taking responsibility for his actions, he continued, "I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much, and we'll continue to deal with this privately."
Thanking his fans for their support, he concluded, "I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support."
Jones and Horsley - a former Miss England contestant - began dating in 2010, going on to marry in 2014 and welcoming a son named Cooper in January 2018.
Music fans may recall Jones and Horsley's relationship began amid controversy, with the News of the World reporting at the time that they became a couple after he split from former Miss England winner Laura Coleman.
