Gavin Rossdale reminisces on Gwen Stefani marriage
Gavin Rossdale has candidly discussed his past marriage to singer Gwen Stefani.
The 59-year-old Bush frontman was married to 55-year-old No Doubt icon Stefani from 2002 until 2016 and they share three children together.
Rossdale took a walk down memory lane when he appeared on the Dinner's On Me podcast, hosted by Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
The Modern Family star explained that he bought a home from Rossdale and Stefani - and was surprised to find a slab of concrete on the property grounds with their names etched into it.
Recalling his happily married days in the Los Angeles house, the Glycerine singer said, "That was just such an exciting time. I was there for a number of years when we just were together. I was there when we first got married."
The singer shares sons Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 11, with his ex-wife and is also dad to model Daisy Lowe, 36.
He recalled, "We had our first kid there. Gwen did do a beautiful job on the nursery."
And recounting further happy days, he said, "We used to have amazing New Year's Eve parties every year.
"We never knew what to do, so it was easy to make the party come to us. So fantastic times. People would come out and that was right at the height of everything really fun, work-wise, it was a really great time for us. So I have a great memory of that house."
Since divorcing Rossdale, Stefani has found love again and married country singer Blake Shelton, 48, in 2021.
