Trish Yearwood gets Hollywood star amid Garth Brooks' rape allegations
Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks have put on a united front as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Five months after Brooks was accused of sexual battery and assault, which he vehemently denies, the two-time Grammy winner showed his support for his wife as she was honoured for her achievements in the entertainment industry.
Brooks was emotional and broke down in tears during the ceremony as he supported his wife, and sat by her side throughout the speeches.
When Yearwood went up to the podium, she thanked her husband for being her biggest "cheerleader".
"As many accolades and awards as he has won, I never see him get more excited than he does when I receive something," she gushed.
"For all the people that want this for me, nobody wants it more than you. I appreciate you for being my support."
Yearwood's ceremony comes after the couple revealed they were considering a move to Ireland.
During an episode of his Facebook Live series Studio G, Brooks revealed he was "pushing hard" to get a house on the Emerald Isle.
The country singer noted that his wife "fell head over heels in love" with Ireland while touring there in 2022.
