Jessie J has shut down rumours that she is pregnant.

On Monday, the British hitmaker took to Instagram to share a series of photos, including one of her posing for a mirror selfie with her hand on her stomach.

Shortly after she posted the photos, fans began speculating that she was expecting baby number two.

One social media user commented, "First pic.... Don't you ever do this to me again, I was in tears thinking about baby 2," while another wrote, "I thought there was another baby on the way."

However, Jessie - who has a two-year-old son named Sky Safir with boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman - has denied the rumours, insisting she is concentrating on her upcoming album.

Responding to a fan who suggested she was pregnant, the Domino hitmaker simply wrote, "Only my (CD emoji)."

The speculation comes just days after the Price Tag singer revealed she was considering a career change.

"I actually genuinely want to do stand-up," the 36-year-old said during a panel discussion hosted by Apple Music in London on Thursday. "I love making people laugh - and cry. I just love feeling things. So yeah, I do want to do comedy."

Meanwhile, Jessie has been teasing her long-awaited fifth album, which will be her first full project since 2018's This Christmas Day, since October last year.

It has also been reported that the singer has teamed up with Adele's frequent songwriting partner, Ryan Tedder, for her new record.

Jessie has previously revealed that she hopes to release the album this year.
