Chappell Roan is in a 'serious' relationship: 'I'm very in love'
Chappell Roan has revealed she is in a "serious" relationship.
During an interview for the Call Her Daddy podcast on Tuesday, the Good Luck, Babe! hitmaker opened up about her current dating life.
After host Alex Cooper asked Chappell, real name Kayleigh Amstutz, if she is single, the star replied, "No."
The 27-year-old then confirmed she had been in a relationship for "six months", but didn't divulge the name of the person she is seeing.
"No, it's serious. I'm very in love, but I am pro-single. Everyone should be single, I'm serious," she smiled. "Be single. Stop dating. Be single. Have a great time alone. Find out for yourself if you can a hundred per cent be O.K. alone before you date. That's what I found out. I had a great time when I was single, and I know that I'll be O.K., and now, I have an awesome time that I'm with someone."
Elsewhere in the conversation, Chappell recalled how she met her love interest through a friend.
She also shared that she was the one who made the first move.
"I'm usually the one who makes, like in every circumstance, I make the first move. I haven't dated someone since this all really, really blew up. I'm dating the same person that I was dating before I got, like blew up, so I'm not sure how I would date now," the Pink Pony Club singer added. "I think it would actually be a nightmare. I think I would be so f**king single right now. I'm scared. I don't trust anyone. I just think in my head, I'm like, any new person that I'm texting, I'm like, 'I'm assuming they will screenshot this and send it to someone else.'"
