SZA has reacted to Chappell Roan naming her as her dream collaborator.

The Kill Bill hitmaker took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday and posted a clip of the singer's appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

In the clip, host Alex Cooper asks Chappell to name her dream artist to collaborate with, and she replies, "SZA", without hesitation or explanation.

Alongside the video, the R&B star told her followers that the feeling was mutual.

"Actually didn't believe this quote when I saw it written til I saw it come out her mouth (just) now 'cause DEAD A*S SAME (sic)," she wrote.

She also posted an emotional face and sparkle emojis and added, "pls we must."

SZA, real name Solana Rowe, has made it clear that she is a fan of Chappell's music in the past. Following the Pink Pony Club star's performance at the Lollapalooza festival last year, SZA wrote on her Instagram Stories, "She makes me wanna keep making new music n art forever (sic)."

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show last week, the Snooze hitmaker named the Hot To Go! star as one of her favourite musical storytellers.

She also revealed during the chat that she suggested a collaboration with Taylor Swift when they bumped into each other at the Grammys.

"I think I mentioned that I would love to write with her and build some things together. I love her storytelling. She was open to it. I think she's awesome. She's so bossed up," she praised.
