FKA Twigs pulls out of Coachella due to 'ongoing visa issues'
FKA Twigs has pulled out of her set at Coachella festival due to "ongoing visa issues".
The Cellophane singer postponed most of the North American dates on her Eusexua Tour in late March after her production team failed to obtain the correct visas.
In an update on Friday, the British hitmaker revealed that she had to postpone or cancel the remainder of her April tour dates, including her two sets at Coachella later this month and her performance at AXE Ceremonia in Mexico City, Mexico on Sunday.
"Im devastated to share the news that due to ongoing visa issues i am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of april across north america, including ceremonia and coachella (sic)," Twigs announced on social media. "It pains me to say this because i am so excited to bring you a creation that i have poured my soul into and i believe is amongst my strongest work and i know this news impacts so many of you that have already made plans and spent money in order to see these shows."
Twigs, real name Tahliah Barnett, promised her fans that she's working hard to reschedule all of her postponed headline shows.
"Back to you all with more updates as soon as i have them - in the meantime here are some of my favourite parts of the show that we worked so hard to create," she signed off her post, before sharing four images from the European leg of the tour.
Twigs kicked off her Eusexua Tour in Paris, France on 13 March and is currently set to wrap it up at Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary on 9 August.
Coachella festival, which is held in Indio, California, takes place across two weekends - 11 to 13 April and 18 to 20 April. This year's edition will be headlined by Lady Gaga, Green Day and Post Malone.
