Gary Barlow has explained why Take That failed to land a residency in Las Vegas.
The iconic boy band - which originally consisted of Barlow, 54, alongside Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams - had been tipped to land a residency deal in the Nevada city following the release of their 2023 album This Life.
However, the group - which now consists of Barlow, Donald and Owen - failed to secure the coveted and potentially lucrative deal.
Explaining why there has been a delay, the frontman explained to The Sun that he hopes this will become a reality in the future.
Barlow said, "It's so hard. It's not happening at the moment. Last year was a good year for us because we played lots of countries that we'd never played before.
"But I just couldn't get Vegas to work. It's because we're not big in America, that's the reality. I'd love to just do it once. Even if it's just for three weeks."
A number of high-profile UK artists have helmed residencies in Las Vegas over the years - with Adele, Elton John and Rod Stewart among singers that have made millions performing in the desert city.
Barlow added in his interview that Take That fans can expect a new album from the band - with plans to release next year.
