Toni Braxton and Birdman secretly married almost a year ago

Toni Braxton and Birdman have been married for almost a year - and even filed for divorce.

It has been discovered that the star couple tied-the-knot in August 2024 - but then Braxton, 58, filed for divorce from Birdman, real name Bryan Brooks, 56, days later.

The pair have been known to date in the past and were a solid couple from 2016, becoming engaged in 2018.

The pair called off the engagement the following year - only to later confirm they were still together, and then later split in 2022.

Now TMZ has uncovered court documents showing that the He Wasn't Man Enough singer filed for divorce in 2024 - revealing they had secretly married.

The outlet reports, "Toni and Birdman quietly - and very secretly, obviously - tied the knot on August 8, 2024... the wedding date is mentioned in the divorce docs Toni filed 2 weeks later."

It is reported that Braxton declared the marriage had been "irretrievably broken" in her filed document and that the star "lists their date of separation as August 10."

In a further twist, however, it is revealed the couple had a change of heart and called off the divorce in January this year, with Birdman signing off on the motion to dismiss.

Fans are now stunned that the couple are married and the news has been broken following apparent relationship drama.

Braxton was previously married to musician Keri Lewis from 2001 until 2013 and they have two sons together.

Birdman has never married but shares two children with an ex-girlfriend known only as Tia.
