James Brolin has revealed the secret to his and Barbra Streisand's three decades together.
The actor opened up about the "best investment" they've made in three decades, explaining he and his megastar wife enjoy spending a lot of time in bed.
"The best investment we've ever made is our mattress," James, 84, shared during an interview with the Today show on Tuesday, before explaining he wasn't talking about stereotypically romantic quality time.
"And don't misunderstand me," James said, clarifying that he and Barbra simply enjoy spending time on their comfortable mattress.
"We're both lazy. We love to sleep late. We do a lot of our work on the phone, on paper, reading, right next to each other."
James went on to say he and Barbra, 82, also know when to employ a short walk to cool down during a disagreement.
"You learn to take a walk. Both of us, not just me! I just think you gotta say, 'Okay, take a deep breath, take a walk'," he explained.
"Because animals do the same thing, you know? Humans do it to each other, animals do it to each other."
James and Barbra were wed in 1998 after being set up on a blind date in 1996.
