Last night, Beyoncé brought the curtain down on a five-night, sold-out takeover of Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, launching her COWBOY CARTER TOUR in spectacular fashion. With more than 217,000 fans packing the stadium across the opening run, Beyoncé cemented her place in history — again — delivering nearly three hours of transcendent performance each night that redefined the boundaries of genre, style, and stagecraft.
The tour, built around her genre-shifting, Grammy-winning album COWBOY CARTER, unfolds in carefully constructed chapters. From soul-infused ballads to reimagined country anthems and pop classics, Beyoncé created a full-blown cultural celebration. Each show blended storytelling, cinematic visuals, and explosive choreography, resulting in what many critics are calling her greatest tour to date.
GQ hailed her as “our greatest living performer,” while the New York Times praised the show as a “joyful extravaganza” that blends personal reclamation with musical innovation. The Guardian called it “a sweeping, theatrical spectacle” that reclaims country music and reframes American identity through Beyoncé’s singular lens.
Fashion, as always, took center stage. Beyoncé stunned in custom ensembles from Mugler, Diesel, Anrealage, Loewe, Dolce & Gabbana, and more—each look balancing rugged Western aesthetics with avant-garde flair. Fans echoed her energy, turning SoFi into a runway of rhinestone boots, cowboy hats, and fringed jackets. The fashion frenzy was chronicled by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and the LA Times, confirming the tour as a cultural movement, not just a concert.
In recognition of her milestone, Beyoncé was honored by SoFi Stadium with a commemorative helmet, onstage photo plaque, and a donation to her BeyGOOD Foundation supporting LA wildfire relief.
Produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation, the COWBOY CARTER TOUR now heads to Chicago, with upcoming stops in New Jersey, London, Paris, Houston, D.C., Atlanta, and beyond. With over 1 million fans expected to attend globally, Beyoncé’s reign shows no sign of slowing.
