Doja Cat is fuming after fans were misled into thinking a batch of leaked, AI-generated tracks were actually her real songs.

The Say So hitmaker took to social media to alert her followers that she had no part in the creation of the tracks and admitted she's "really disappointed" that some people believe it's her work.

She fumed on X: "Really disappointed in everyone thinking that’s me :/ F*** AI for real."

In another post, she wrote: "All of those songs that are leaking that they’re saying are mine are AI. None of it is me."

Doja recently admitted she feels compelled to defend her "creative choices" on social media.

The 30-year-old rap star is well known for reacting to online criticism, and Doja wants to respond whenever she feels "threatened".

The Paint the Town Red hitmaker told Vogue magazine: "When I feel that I’m threatened, even though it may not be a threat at all, it rhymes with: You are failing.

"Look, I never do costume changes, but I feel like I have to defend my creative choices, and then I give those people power even though they could be anybody—they could have Cheeto dust on their fingers and have no job."

Despite this, Doja hopes she stops engaging in online spats by the time she reaches 50.

She said: "In life, you grow. We’ll see where I am when I’m 50, if I’m still on Twitter doing stuff like that, who knows? Hopefully not."
