Youthmovies are back.
Youthmovies will be releasing the Polyp EP on new home Blast First (petite) which features 5 brand new tracks and a remix from Hugo Manuel of Jonquil.
The release will be followed by a full UK tour with Portland’s Adam Gnade, who once again collaborates with the band on the EP track Become an Island (following the 2007 Honey Slides EP).
Other guests include Vicky Steer (Blanket) who provides vocals on Magic Diamond and Joe Shrewsbury (65daysoftstatic) who took part in the late night improvised recording of the aforementioned Become An Island.
The EP sees the band perhaps referencing more traditional musics than previous efforts, touching upon folk, country and minimalism.
