RISING MUSIC stars have teamed up with legendary artists for the new War Child album "Heroes".
The international children's charity asked some of the biggest names in music history to chose one of their favourite songs from their own back catalogue.
Legends such as Stevie Wonder and Bob Dylan were then asked to nominate younger artists to create a modern reworking of that song.
While Dylan asked Beck to cover "Leopard-silk Pill-box Hat", Stevie Wonder asked Estelle to cover "Superstition" and The Clash chose Lily Allen for her version of "Straight to Hell".
Sir Paul McCartney, who nominated Duffy to cover "Live and Let Die", said: "The breadth of talent on this project is amazing; it's great that so many people gave their time, energy and support to this initiative.
A supporter of the charity for 14 years, he added: "Their work with children in war zones saves lives and their work with those who take decisions that help them to do something about it saves even more lives.
" I urge everyone to support War Child."
The album is due for release on February 16th.
