N.E.R.D have been confirmed as the special guests for this year's Glastonbury festival.

Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo's band will fill the Friday 3:10-4:10pm slot on the Pyramid Stage, just before Lily Allen's set.

In an interview with the Guardian last month, organiser Emily Eavis let it slip that the group were playing.

Other hip-hop acts playing this year include Dizzee Rascal, Shlomo, Tinchy Stryder, Black Eyed Peas and Q-Tip.

Glastonbury kicks off tomorrow at Worthy Farm, Somerset, with Bruce Springsteen, Blur and Neil Young headlining.
