Juliette Lewis wows IOW crowd

IOW festival got off to a cracking start with girlpower rock’n’roll on the agenda, thanks to Juliette Lewis, Florence and the Machine, Marina and the Diamonds. Juliette especially with a fine performance full of power, frenzy and passion rocked the crowd on the Big Top stage.

On the Main stage, Doves were as excellent as ever, Jay Z closing the night with a huge enthusiastic crowd present.

Anyone who took the time to check out Midge Ure on the Acoustic stage was blessed with the talent and class of a fabulous artist playing songs such as Vienna, Breathe and Fade To Gray.

Great weather today with the rock’n’roll flag firmly in the hands of The Strokes, a summit peak is likely tonight.

Today will see manys peoples band of the festival, The Strokes, take Saturday nights headline slot by storm, hopefully.
