Ian Parker will be taking his band back on the road this autumn with a new shape, new members and new songs to introduce.
Long time friend and keyboards player with Parker for many years, Morg Morgan, will be retiring from full time playing to become a music teacher and Ian is restructuring hius band and bringing in Chris Eaton, who many in the UK have heard in his acoustic trio, on a permanent basis.
"My good mate Morg Morgan is retiring from full time playing to become a music teacher. I'm sure he'll do really well in his new career given his varied life experience and musical ability. I'll definitely miss having 'The Mole' around, but I still intend to play duo shows with him from time to time, so there's a chance you'll get to hear him again at some point."
The band, including long time bandmates Steve Amadeo on bass and Wayne Proctor on drums, have been busy in rehearsal and there will be a taster video of the band - filmed by 'Mick The Dog' - on his website shortly.
Before the autum band dates Ian will be playing a series of trio and accoustic dates around the country:
