The first ever St Helier Music Crowns Awards Night went down a storm this Monday at London's trendy Cargo music venue in Shoreditch.

Seven excellent acts ensured the night was a success with faultless performances from UK soul sensation "McLean" and the 3 crown winners - Maria Marcial (Pop Category Winner), Leo LeVox (Urban Category Winner) and Messiah (Rock Category Winner).

Also on the bill were The Munroes who supported Babyshambles last year and London-based Sunday Morning Service with solo artist Craig Bevan completing the line up.

The night was a testament to the organisers, sponsors, production team and the performers' hard work over the last year and an excellent portrayal of the unsigned talent the UK and Ireland has to offer.

St Helier Music Crowns will be adding a live aspect to the format next year and are currently recruiting a new panel of judges for the 2011 campaign.

Entries will be taken from January 1st, 2011.
