For its 21st consecutive year, The Dinah is once again bringing some of the biggest names in music to rock the desert.
Mariah Hanson, founder and producer of The Dinah, has just announced another HUGE headliner for the 2011 highly anticipated largest lesbian weekend in the world held March 30 through April 3 (www.TheDinah.com) at the Riviera Spa & Resort, the Hilton Hotel and the Convention Center in Palm Springs, California.
Joining the stellar line-up is Grammy-nominated, 6.5 million selling artist, Natasha Bedingfield who is slated to headline The Dinah’s legendary “Hollywood Party” on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Palm Springs Convention center – the largest concert venue in Palm Springs.
Bedingfield exploded onto the music scene with the hit singles "Unwritten", "These Words" and "Single" all from her platinum debut album, Unwritten. The album entered the charts at No. 1, only the third debut album of a solo female to do so. Unwritten was the most played song on mainstream American radio in 2006. It was also the first Number One pop single by a British female solo artist in the U.S. in almost 20 years and garnered Bedingfield her first Grammy nomination for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.”
Since then the international super star has delivered a handful of radio hits including “Pocket Full of Sunshine”, “I Bruise Easily”, “Love Like This” and her latest music gem “Strip Me” from her newly released album of the same name. Strip Me is the follow-up to 2008's Pocketful of Sunshine, a megahit in the U.S. selling over three million singles of the title track and featuring four number one dance singles.
"We are beyond thrilled and honored to have Natasha Bedingfield perform at The Dinah. She is the perfect headliner for our signature event,” says Mariah Hanson, “Her show will be one unlike any other! She’s an amazing, down-to-earth, exceptionally talented artist with a repertoire of empowering, feel good, and very relatable (to real life) songs.”
