Red Hot Chili Peppers will follow-up their 2006 ‘Stadium Arcadium’ album in August.

Drummer Chad Smith has confirmed the new album but only joked about a title saying it might be called “Hello, Is It Me You’re Looking For”, a reference to that cheesy old Lionel Richie ballad from the 80s.

Red Hot Chili Peppers officially started media reactivation when a promo CD was sent to American radio stations last week featuring 18 of their hits. The CD was titled ‘Road Trippin’ Though Time’. The release was to remind media of the legacy of the band since it was 5 years since their last album.

Yesterday (April 26), Rock Band announced Red Hot Chili Peppers were one of the most downloaded acts for their computer game.
