After 25years together Synthpop pioneers Erasure are set to release their eagerly anticipated new album, Tomorrow’s World , on 3rd October. T he album is a return to the duo's futuristic, electronic best, a sound they championed back in the late 80's and early 90's now coveted by the likes of Lady Gaga and Metronomy. Tomorrow's World is also produced by critically acclaimed rising electro star, Frankmusik whose production credits include Lady Gaga, Pet Shop Boys, Ellie Goulding and mixed by Rob Orton . Vince explains, “We chose Frank because he is someone who has a different approach to the music, who is sympathetic to synthesizers, and incredibly keen."
The award-winning Vince Clarke and Andy Bell unleashed a succession of both influential and chart-topping pop anthems on the nation with smash hit songs like “A Little Respect”, “Sometimes”, “Victim Of Love” and “Breathe.” These iconic tracks led to Erasure selling 25 million albums and scoring more than 40 hit singles, ensuring a formidable presence on the singles charts complemented by five consecutive No 1 albums including “The Innocents”, “Wild!”, “Chorus” and the beginning of the worldwide Abba revival “Abba-esque”.
