Florence Welch enjoys “hanging out” with Drake.

Florence and Drake met at MTV’s 2010 Video Music Awards.

Since their introduction, Drake has been vocal about his admiration for Florence and the Machine’s music. Florence even joined Drake onstage at a London concert in January.

Florence and the rapper have spoken about collaborating with one another professionally.

"We haven't actually done any recording together," Florence told MTV News. "Whenever I see Drake, we always just end up kind of hanging out, which is equally fun, but no, we haven't done anything together yet."

Drake’s upcoming Take Care and Florence and the Machine’s record Ceremonials will be released within weeks of each other. Unfortunately the musicians were unable to team up and create music together on their mutual new albums.

Florence definitely wants to work with Drake in the future.

"I think we're both big fans of each other's work," Florence said. "If we would have the time it is something I would definitely like to do, but we're both really busy."

Although Florence and Drake have not had the opportunity to collaborate yet the songstress has joined forces with other musicians. The Weeknd has remixed her band’s song Shake It Out and she is thrilled with the results.

"Oh my God, I love it," she gushed. "I love it so much. I really want to make a homemade video of it. I don't know, like, rainbow exorcism. I hear that song, and it makes me think of puking rainbows."

Florence and the Machine’s new album Ceremonials will be released worldwide on October 31. Drake’s Take Care will be in stores on November 15.
