Jack White produces Tom Jones single

Following his work with Loretta Lynn and Wanda Jackson comes news that Jack White is working on a new record for Tom Jones.

The song ‘Jezebel’ is a reworking of a 2002 recording Jones made for his ‘Mr Jones’ album. The b-side is the Howlin’ Wolf track ‘Evil’.

White will release the Jones single on vinyl through his Third Man Records label which he has done previously with Insane Clown Posse and Stephen Colbert as part of his Blue Series.

Talking to Mojo Magazine White said of Jones in the studio, “he impressed the shit out of everybody”.

White is yet to set the release date for the Tom Jones single.
