Dolly Parton thinks a duet with Lady Gaga would be a “fun experience”.
The actress-and-country-music-legend would love to collaborate with the Born This Way singer.
Dolly is convinced that she and Gaga would create some great songs with each other.
"We'd be fun together, don't you think?" Dolly said to E! Online at the red carpet premiere of her new movie Joyful Noise. "I think people would love that. But you know, you just wait. Those kind of things happen when they're supposed to."
Although she has yet to cement a duet with Gaga, Dolly has already sang with notable music icon and Joyful Noise co-star Queen Latifah.
Dolly imagines that Latifah would be extraordinary on America’s legendary televised country music stage concert the Grand Ole Opry.
"I told Queen Latifah she should be on the Grand Ole Opry," Dolly said. "She could sing Fix Me Jesus. They would love that."
Dolly’s 1989 comedy Steel Magnolias is currently being remade by Lifetime Television Network with an all African-American cast.
The star is excited about this development.
"I think that would be great," she smiled.
