Electro icon Giorgio Moroder has revealed that he recorded a rap for the next Daft Punk album.

URB reveals that the man behind Donna Summer’s groundbreaking ‘I Feel Love’ has worked with the French duo so indebted to his sound.

During an interview at the International Music Summit he said that he recently went into the studio with Daft Punk to record a rap for their next album.

In the audience at the IMS was funk and disco pioneer Nile Rodgers (of Chic), who has said earlier that he’s worked on multiple songs with the duo.

US singer-songwriter Paul Williams (who wrote ‘Rainy Days And Mondays’ and ‘We’ve Only Just Begun’ for The Carpenters, as well as The Muppets’ ‘Rainbow Connection’) has also admitted to working on the album.
