Having sold out their Royal Albert Hall show in less than 15 minutes, Foals have added an extra show due to much demand.
The matinee performance takes place at the beginning of the long bank holiday weekend, Easter Thursday, doors 3pm.
The band appeared two weeks ago on BBC2’s Later With Jools Holland, performing new single Inhaler and forthcoming single My Number to great internet buzz. The video for electrifying comeback track ‘Inhaler” gained half a million views on Youtube in 4 days. An epic, blistering, shamanistic purging of the soul – this is three urgent minutes where Foals set out to raise the dead. Heavier than anything they have written before it nevertheless shines with their inimitable groove and funk.
With two top 10 albums already under their belt the Oxford five-piece Foals prepare to return with their third and most exhilarating album yet. The new album is titled ‘Holy Fire’ and is due for UK release Feb 11th 2013.
Holy Fire has been recorded by prestigious production duo Flood & Moulder at Assault and Battery studios in London. Their previous work includes Smashing Pumpkins, PJ Harvey, Nine Inch Nails, and The Killers.
