Paris Jackson has the "wow factor" that would make her the perfect professional cheerleader.

The daughter of late music icon Michael Jackson has drawn interest from the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleading squad.

Squad member Barbara Zaun reviewed footage of Paris performing for her prep school's varsity team recently, and was impressed by what she saw.

Professional pom pom shaker Barbara thinks Paris has the talent to go far with the popular American sport.

"We think Paris will make a great Eagle cheerleader!" she gushed to US website TMZ.

"We thought that she had a lot of poise, confidence, and enthusiasm in her cheer performance. Paris has that 'wow factor' that makes a great cheerleader.

"She is already very comfortable in the limelight, so we think she would definitely stand out and impress the judges... We hope that she will try out for the team and be an Eagles cheerleader!"

Paris, 14, would have to wait a few years if she took the Eagles cheerleaders up on their offer. The squad require members to be at least 18 and have a high school diploma.

At the end of last year, Paris explained how she has dealt with the media attention since her birth.

"Stay humble. Don't let things get to your head," she revealed.

It has also been reported that Paris is pursuing a career as an actress, and the star addressed her career aspirations at the same time.

"[My acting career is going] great," Paris said. "No, it's not reality television. I like to keep some parts of our life private, you know?"
