Britney Spears is reportedly eager to have a baby after her Las Vegas residency ends.
The pop star is recently believed to have agreed a deal with a venue in the US city, which will see her perform 40 weekend shows over two years. Britney has two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline and is apparently hoping to expand her brood after her work schedule quietens down.
The 31-year-old singer is currently dating David Lucado and the couple have seemingly discussed how they would balance raising a family and juggling their careers.
“Britney has been talking about her hopes to have a baby when her Vegas residency ends,” a source told British magazine Closer. “They want David to be the stay-at-home dad while she’s performing, and says he can’t wait to be hands-on.”
Britney fell for law firm employee David shortly after splitting from her fiancé Jason Trawick. After the break-up, there was speculation their relationship came under strain because they disagreed over having children. While the blonde star wanted to have more kids, Jason apparently didn’t feel ready.
Britney seems to be blossoming in her new romance and reportedly wants David to move in with her. She has been following a healthy diet and exercise regime, and is feeling better than ever.
“Britney’s in the best shape she’s been in for years. Being with David has really inspired her. He makes her really happy and she wants to look sexy for him,” a source explained. “Although she already looks amazing, Brit wants to get back the six-pack she had in the Slave 4 U video which she filmed when she was 19 – she’s hell-bent on looking perfect.”
Although Britney sticks to a strict diet, she has one ‘cheat day’ a week. On this day, the star can indulge in her favourite fast food treats.
“Britney’s the queen of drive-thrus and takes full advantage of her cheat day – even getting KFC if she fancies it. But she’s totally committed on the other six days,” revealed the insider.
