One Direction star Harry Styles reportedly forwent a career in football in favour of chasing women.
A few years back the 19-year-old heartthrob was a valuable member of his hometown soccer team. At the age of 13 he played goalie on the Wasps, which is based in Britain’s Holmes Chapel in the county of Cheshire.
Since shooting to fame with his boy band One Direction in 2010, Harry is known for being popular with the ladies.
Apparently he has always been a sucker for pretty girls.
“He was a good player and was definitely one of the lads but, as with most teenage boys, as soon as they find the ladies that’s it for football,” a source told UK newspaper The Mirror.
“He hung up his boots and concentrated on his love life.”
One year ago, Harry reunited with his Wasp teammates and the young men seemed to have a great time together.
The star has been linked to a string of girls since hitting international stardom, including Taylor Swift, Cara Delevingne and British model Millie Brady.
Harry’s group One Direction is currently performing internationally on their Take Me Home concert tour.
