Frank "Poncho" Sampedro, the guitarist for the band Crazy Horse, has told Rolling Stone that he thinks that the group's current world tour could be their last.

Crazy Horse have recorded and toured with Neil Young during numerous spans over the last forty-four years but their latest, in support of the albums Americana and Psychedelic Pill, came nine years after their last collaboration, 2003's Greendale. Sampedro has been a member of the group since 1975.

The guitarist told the magazine "I just think once it stops it's going to be kind of hard to get it rolling again. My gut tells me this is really the last tour. I hate saying their ages, but I'm 64 and I'm the baby of the band. I love playing and we're playing as good as we ever did, but at any time something could go down with any one of us."

He went on to say that, at up to two-and-a-half hours, their shows are physical challenges, adding that he has had surgery on his thumb and that Young needs to tape his wrist every night.

There's much more in the interview on Rolling Stone's site.
