Manic Street Preachers play Radio 2 gig

The Manic Street Preachers have announced they are to play the BBC Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park gig.

Taking place on September 8, the Welsh band join a line-up which includes, Simple Minds, Texas, Jamie Callum and Jack Johnson.

The band are currently on tour in Australia where they are playing gigs in Sydney and Melbourne, before heading back to the UK to play Festival No.6 in North Wales in September.
