10 August 2013

It's Mid-August. Let's cut to it, we have roughly a month before Summer 2013 becomes filed under 'Nostalgia', living on only as a series of (on second inspection, slightly blurred) Instagram pics. For those of you that didn't manage to make it out to a European festival, or those of you that did but still haven't had their fill of main stage madness yet, help is at hand.
Movement festival Italy runs on momentum. A peripatetic party brand that's popped up so far this year in Detroit, Zurich & now DC10 Ibiza , the festival will land eventually for its main event in Torino on October 24th. Until then however, their DC10 line-up looks impressive, with three dates confirmed:
10.08.2013: Skreamizm: Special guest: Skream, Loefah, Hrdvsion, Matt Tolfrey, Simon Baker
17.08.2013: Better Lost than Stupid: Special guest: Davide Squillace, Matthias Tanzman, Martin Buttrich
24.08.2013: Apollonia Night: Special guest: Apollonia (Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, Shonky)
Richie Hawtin plays the Detroit chapter of Movement earlier this year
Meanwhile, the main event, @ Torino, promises to be an Autumn game-changer with a similarly international line-up to the brand’s pre-parties. Promoters are drip-feeding line-up names daily on their Facebook page, with Maceo Plex as the latest confirmed act.
With flights starting at just £150 what's to stop you?
