Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman are reportedly expecting a boy.
The music mogul hit headlines when it was recently revealed the socialite is pregnant with his child.
Now it seems the gender of their little one has been revealed.
"They've known for a while!" a source told Us Weekly, after claiming their bundle of joy will be a son.
“He is over the moon to be having a son," an insider added to the New York Daily News.
The couple's news caused controversy, as Lauren was married to Simon's good friend Andrew at the time.
Now they have come to a divorce agreement, meaning Lauren and Simon have been more open about discussing their baby news.
“It was a surprise initially and some of the circumstances around this were very uncomfortable to say the least, but it happened and she’s an incredible girl,” he recently confessed to British radio station Magic FM.
“Then once I got used to the idea that I was going to be a dad, then I was really happy.”
The pair have even been discussing baby names and Simon reportedly wants to call their little one Eric, after his late father.
Usually known for his tough, businesslike personality, the 53-year-old seems to have softened since finding out he will become a dad.
"I feel very paternal right now. So I am very happy," he recently smiled.
