Josh Duhamel promises his son and wife are "all good".

The actor and Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie welcomed Axl Jack into the world on August 29.

Since then the little family have kept a low profile, but today Josh took to Twitter to address the kind messages they have been receiving.

"Sorry about the absence. I truly appreciate all of your well wishes. All is good! In fact, never better. :) Much love, JD (sic)" he wrote.

Prior to Axl's arrival, Josh, 40, had been worrying about how the couple's pet pooch would react to the baby.

His positive tweet should mean everything worked out well with their dog.

"Curious how your pets reacted when you brought home your first newborn child. Any advice?" he questioned his followers shortly before the birth.

Fergie, 38, gave birth to their son via C-section at a Los Angeles hospital with Josh by her side.

According to TMZ, the little one weighed a healthy 7lbs. 10oz.

Josh always promised he would be a hands-on dad.

"I plan on taking [off] as much time as I can just before and as much time as possible after," he recently said.

"I can't imagine having a kid and then not being able to be there. That would just drive me crazy. My head would be at home with mom and baby."
