Sir Mick Jagger is reportedly set to become a great-grandfather.
The 70-year-old Rolling Stones rocker will welcome another generation to his famous family when his granddaughter Assisi gives birth.
The 21-year-old is the eldest offspring of Mick’s daughter Jade Jagger and is expecting a tot with chef boyfriend Alex, according to UK newspaper The Daily Mirror.
The socialite is thought to have been dating him for more than a year.
“She and Alex are thrilled and broke the news to their immediate families last week,” a source said. “Jade was a little taken aback at first, not least because it means she will be a grandmother by the age of 42. She’s expecting some ribbing from her showbiz pals.”
Mick is meanwhile still feeling youthful despite reports of his grandchild’s impending motherhood.
]“Mick is delighted and has no qualms about being a great grandfather,” the insider shared. “He’s been joking about becoming a great, great, granddad and still performing!”
Jade, who married Adrian Fillary last year, also has another daughter, 17-year-old Amba, from her relationship with her artist ex Piers Jackson.
Mick is already father to seven kids, aged 14 to 42.
Jade was born to his ex-wife Bianca, while his eldest, Karis, was born in 1970 after he enjoyed a fling with Marsha Hunt.
He has Elizabeth, James, Georgia May, and Gabriel from his relationship with model Jerry Hall and a son named Lucas from a brief romance with Luciana Gimenez.
