Simon Cowell's is reportedly viewing it as "business as usual" when it comes to his "harem".

The music mogul is expecting a baby with his new girlfriend Lauren Silverman, the ex-wife of his former friend Andrew.

Simon is known for remaining pals with his previous partners, such as his ex-fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy and Sinitta. It's previously been claimed Lauren hopes to put some distance between Simon and the women, but it now seems that is unlikely.

"When it comes to Mezhgan and the harem, it's business as usual and non-negotiable. Lauren knows she can't make demands that Simon changes his life, as he'll bolt. Getting rid of the harem has to be a 'work in progress'," a source told British magazine Heat.

Simon and Mezhgan have been seen out together many times this month, but the music star only has eyes for Lauren. It's been claimed he is ready to make a go of things with his new partner, even though her pregnancy came as something of a surprise.

"Simon is ready to commit - Lauren's having his child and a wedding will make his mom happy. He's traditional, he wants Lauren to have the baby in London, he wants to be a stepdad to [her son] Adam. He's been looking at rings so he can propose," the insider added.

News that Simon, 53, is to become a father came as a huge surprise to many as he has always claimed he had no interest in having kids.

Earlier this week, Sinitta admitted feeling upset when she first heard the news.

"I suppose there has been a certain amount of comfort for me in my not having a child with Simon as he never wanted to have children. That's who he was, you accepted it. Then, to discover that he is going to have a child, only with someone else and they're building this life together..." she explained.

"All those crazy things were going through my head and it's not fair and it's not pertinent to Simon and Lauren's situation and I don't have a right to feel that way. But I'm being honest."
