Justin Bieber's alleged egg attack on his neighbour's home caused $20k of damage.
It was reported last week that the 19-year-old singer launched "an all out egg assault" on his neighbour's home.
Now law enforcement sources have told TMZ the reported extent of the damage, with total repair costs reaching $20,000.
"We're told the entire front of his house must be re-plastered. To do the job - which is especially expensive because it's Venetian plaster - will cost around $15K. There's another $5,000 in damage to the entry, including various doors that must be re-stained," the website reports.
The law enforcement source has also told the website that L.A. County Sheriff's deputies are fast-tracking the investigation.
The case will be referred to the L.A. County D.A. who could then file vandalism charges against the Beauty and a Beat singer.
"Since the damages far exceed $400 the case could be filed as a felony," TMZ added.
The Canadian star has a famously tumultuous relationship with those who live near his Calabasas mansion.
They have accused him of driving dangerously fast around the community in the past and police have been called after his parties got out of hand.
The latest allegations against the star concern him apparently pelting another property with food.
"[We] spoke to the neighbour who says he heard something banging against his house in Calabasas around 7.30pm Thursday, and when he stepped on to a 2nd floor balcony... he says he saw Justin down below hurling eggs at his front door," reported TMZ at the time.
The unidentified man claims he immediately shouted at Justin to ask what he was doing, resulting in the singer aiming the eggs at him.
TMZ reports that neither Justin nor his people have contacted the neighbour with an offer to pay or to even apologise.
