Miley Cyrus reportedly told Selena Gomez to give Justin Bieber "another shot".
The former Disney star is good friends with Justin and was forced to laugh off rumours they were dating after they were seen on a night out last year. She insisted they had just been working in the studio together and had been good friends for some time.
It seems she is such pals with the Canadian teenager that she wanted to help him get his love life back on track. Justin and Selena are understood to be dating again after a year apart, with Miley apparently the catalyst for the reunion.
"Miley had a long word with Selena at the Britney concert in Vegas [this month] telling her that she should give Justin another shot," an insider told British magazine Heat.
There have been rumours that Selena was unhappy about Justin's relationship with Miley. But it seems those were unfounded, with the punky singer simply using her sway with the heartthrob to make him realise what he was missing.
"She's been pulling for them ever since they split," the source explained.
Justin and Selena sparked speculation they were back together after Justin posted a picture of them together on Instagram. They were also seen riding segways around his neighbourhood in Calabasas, while confronting her feelings for her ex is said to be one of the reasons why Selena cancelled some of her tour dates this year.
“Dealing with her breakup from Justin has still been affecting her and she’s been in a bit of a bad place recently,” a source told RadarOnline previously.
“Her family stepped in and basically advised her to either go to therapy or stay with them so they could watch over her. Her team agreed that family time would be best.”
