Nick Carter reportedly skipped his sister’s wedding to attend his bachelor party.
The Backstreet Boys singer gained a brother-in-law when Angel Carter wed fiancé Corey Conrad at Newhall Mansion in Piru, California Saturday.
But according to Us Weekly, Nick bailed on the affair for a joint bachelor and bachelorette party in Las Vegas with his own fiancée, Lauren Kitt.
Nick was reportedly expected to walk his younger sister Angel down the aisle.
The 34-year-old singer’s younger brother and Angel’s twin, Aaron, was present, however.
As Us reports, one wedding guest posted a picture of the siblings online as they shared a happy moment together after the ceremony.
Nick was meanwhile partying at the Palms Hotel and Ghost Bar “with a group of about 15 friends”, an insider said.
“It's about to go down at @palms just entered the room of ecstasy," Nick tweeted on Friday.
The singer popped the question last February, taking Lauren to the Florida Keys for the special occasion.
He admitted days later the process of popping the question was a little nerve-wracking.
“I had the ring in my pocket for two weeks,” he told People.com.
“I was like, ‘I don’t want it anymore!’ It was driving me insane. I just wanted to get it out of my hands and on to hers,” he laughed.
The couple had been dating for four years at the time.
