Justin Bieber reportedly “hooked up” with Adriana Lima in Cannes.
The 20-year-old singer and 32-year-old Victoria’s Secret model have been in the South of France during the Cannes Film Festival.
And UsWeekly claims that despite earlier reports to the contrary, Justin’s persistence in pursuing the Brazilian beauty, who split from husband Marko Jaric in May, apparently paid off.
"Justin pursued her hard," a source told the outlet, adding the pair “were talking nonstop” during a party at French Riviera club Gotha on May 20.
"They went home together around 5 a.m.,” the insider claims.
Justin posted a picture of himself with Adriana that same night on his Instagram account.
"I think she foreign, I think she foreign," he captioned the image, referencing lyrics to his song Confident.
Apparently a pal of the star doesn’t believe there’s any possibility of a longterm relationship, however.
"He had fun with Adriana. [But] it won't turn into anything serious,” the source said.
The UsWeekly report follows just days after claims Justin was unable to woo the model.
A source previously told British newspaper The Sun Justin was drawn to Adriana “like a mother to a flame” at the gathering, but she didn’t appear interested.
“He was stood beside her, danced during one performance at the club and barely left her side,” the insider said. “At the end of the night he was trying to head back to a hotel with Adriana and her mates — but she politely declined.”
Adriana and her husband meanwhile confirmed their separation in a statement to People magazine earlier this month.
The former couple share daughters Valentina, four, and Sienna, 19 months.
